Products/Services

CIVIL ENGINEERING - Services include the production of plans and specifications for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Site plans for commercial and industrial projects include grading, drainage, and erosion control requirements. Parking, screening, and planting improvements are normally provided. Other available civil design services include roadway design, dam and pond design, and subdivision design.  Civil consultation services include coordination with the appropriate government agencies to obtain approvals, permits, and variances.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING - Services include the analysis and design of structures to produce construction documents for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Construction documents include plans, details, and specifications for the building frame and foundation.  The structural analysis and design is performed using finite element computer methods. Complex structures are modeled in three dimensions with all applicable loads and combinations analyzed. Structures are designed and detailed to withstand hurricane and earthquake loads, in addition to all other normal floor loadings.  Structural members are selected to satisfy the loading requirements, codes and for optimum efficiency with the aid computer technology, resulting in accurate and cost effective designs.  Design and drafting is produced using computer drafting systems and base drawings are available in digital format or plotted at any scale.

COASTAL / MARINE ENGINEERING - Complete services are provided including site selection and analysis for the planning phase to project plans and specifications for the construction phase. Computer modeling of coastal projects provides for extensive analysis during the design development phase resulting in accurate and efficient designs. Permit applications and drawings required by government agencies are also produced.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTION - Lambert Engineering offers structural inspection services, which include visual examination of the structural system, including the foundation, floors, walls, and roof. The framing system is analyzed to determine structural integrity, stability and building code compliance.  Clients are provided a comprehensive written report that outlines observations made during the inspection, conclusions reached upon evaluation, and recommendations for corrective action, if required. An inspection allows an owner to make informed decisions with respect to a purchase, insurance claim, or construction plans.
